So Long, And Thanks For All The Lamingtons

So long, and thanks for all the lamingtons

We have been very pleased to have Bobin Park (second from right) working with us since early April. Bobin is from Korea, from Han Yang University in Seoul (one of the top 5 in Korea) and has been on an exchange program with James Cook University. While primarily studying Food and Nutrition, Bobin has been using her time at Crosby Park Meals on Wheels to improve her English.

Bobin has been assisting in the office with updating policies and procedures, compiling menus and a wide variety of other tasks which will be of assistance to her workplace in Korea. The highlight of Bobin’s time has, of course, been meeting many clients as she delivers meals to them. We have tried to improve her knowledge of particularly Australian food by introducing her to pies, hamburgers, lamingtons (her favourite) and pavlova.

Thank you for your time with us Bobin. From all the team at Crosby Park Meals on Wheels – we wish you all the best with completing your degree and your future. It has been a delight having you with us.
